Our mission is to diversify the neurosciences by building a community that celebrates and empowers Black scholars and professionals in neuroscience-related fields.

    Black In Neuro Week 2021 overview. July 26- Aug 1 A border of blue and purple neurons surrounds a Black background with blue and purple text boxes. The schedule of events are Jul 26: Black Neuro Roll Call, Jul 27 Black Neuro Research, Jul 28 Neuro Racism, Jul 29 Black Neuro Mentors, Jul 30 Black Neuro Careers, Jul 31 BINtersections, Aug 1 Black Joy In Neuro.

    All events will include professional, live captioning and ASL interpretation.

    Meet with members of the Black In Neuro community who share your own unique intersections! We'll have the following breakout rooms, which you can rotate between as you please: #BlackParentInNeuro*, #BlackFirstGenInNeuro, #BlackAndDisabledInNeuro / #BlackNeurodivergentInNeuro, #BlackAndQueerInNeuro, and #BlackImmigrantInNeuro. This event is restricted to Black In Neuro members. 

    *Note: the parents room is kid-friendly, so feel free to bring your little ones! 

    This event will include professional, live captioning and ASL interpretation.
